"La
Piaggia" is a new camping site located on the side of
a hill surrounded by olive groves.

The camp
site looks onto the most beautiful part of the Tyrrhenian
Sea coastline between San Vincenzo and Piombino
approximately 300 metres from the Gulf of Baratti. It is
on the main road which takes you to the port of Piombino
where you can catch the ferry to Elba Island, Sardinia and
Corsica.
In Venturina you can find the thermal springs of
Calidario. World famous wines can be found in the nearby
towns of Suvereto and Castagneto Carducci. The Marina
“Terre Rosse” is just a few kilometres away. There is the
possibility of horseback riding tours, visits to amusement
and archaeological parks in the vicinity. .
